1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PRISM ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PRISM is an AI-powered translation tool that converts Japanese light novel text into English. The Service uses Google's Gemini API to perform translations. Translation quality may vary.

3. User Content & Copyright

You are solely responsible for any text you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have the legal right to use and translate it.
• Your use does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• You will not upload content for commercial redistribution of copyrighted works without authorization.

PRISM does not claim ownership of your uploaded content. We store it solely to provide the translation service.

4. DMCA / Copyright Takedowns

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a takedown notice to ayushgargofficial24@gmail.com including:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service.
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
• A statement that the information is accurate, under penalty of perjury.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features require a one-time or recurring payment processed by Razorpay. All payments are subject to Razorpay's terms. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of purchase for assistance.

6. User API Keys

If you provide your own Google Gemini API key, you are responsible for all usage and charges incurred under that key. We store your key encrypted at rest and never share it with third parties.

7. Prohibited Uses

• Automated scraping or bulk abuse of the translation API.
• Uploading malicious content intended to harm the Service or other users.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or bypass security measures.
• Reselling translated output at scale without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated translations may contain errors. We are not responsible for the accuracy of translations or any decisions made based on them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PRISM and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
